Mindfulness dijeta – modern cognitive-behavioural approach to nutrition therapy - Dragana Markanović, prof. psych.. and Branka Bagarić, mag. psych., HUBIKOT ZagrebChange in eating habits is the key to achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight. But often the guidelines for a balanced diet are not enough, because in an attempt to restrict caloric intake the strong sense of deprivation occurs which reduces the motivation for change. In times of stress and negative emotions it is even more difficult to resist the urge to overeat, which again reinforces the long-term unpleasant emotions and leads to a vicious circle and restoring the learned patterns of eating.
As one of the main culprits for the failure to achieve and maintain a healthy weight, scientists increasingly emphasize different distractors which distract our attention from eating, making us insensitive to the cognitive, emotional and physiological signs of fullness. Therefore, it seems reasonable to assume deliberately paying attention to what and how we eat could help maintain healthier eating habits. Intentionally directing attention to internal and external events in the present moment, without judgment, is the foundation of Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, which is a blend of classic cognitive-behavioral approaches and mindfulness exercises in Eastern meditative practices. Numerous studies confirm the effectiveness of this approach in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, and problems associated with eating. Eating with focused awareness (Mindful eating) is an approach that combines its modern therapy with knowledge of modern nutritional research. Applying it before, during and after meals, a person learns to focus his full attention on the senses, emotions, thoughts and behaviours associated with food and eating. Recent research linking the practice of reducing the dysfunctional patterns of eating behaviour, reduced risk of various health problems, reducing the weight and increasing the consumption of food, in obese people, and people with eating disorders, as well as those who want to maintain a healthy weight. The participants will undergo guided experiential exercises of eating with full awareness and will, through discussion in small groups, learn how to use this approach to increase cooperation with the client and overcome difficulties in achieving desired results. 4.Planning nutrition of the athlete - Dora Babić, mag.nutr.; Croatian Association of Nutritionists; Hrvoje Centner, Association Nutrition BalanceNutrition of the athlete is a demanding area of nutrition since no individual athlete can be assessed with general recommendations for diet but must undergo an individual assessment of the nutritional status, level of physical activity, the estimates of consumption and energy requirements and assessment of the health status of athletes. Enterpreneur incubator – how to start your own business - Diana Gluhak, mag.nutr., Healthy Meal Standard - Direktor Sparkle d.o.o. and owner of Healthy Meal StandardToday, starting your own business is very popular, especially when there are a number of business centers that offer opportunities for growth and development of such ideas. Accordingly, various products are developed which harm their customers on the open market. However, it is necessary to distinguish, that an idea is one thing, and the final product that enables the return of the invested values which covers the needs of the market is something completely different.
Development of ones own idea starts with hard work, dedication and time but also a strong motivation and faith in their own product. Crucial for success is that the person has entrepreneurial and not the workers' way of thinking: the time, effort and work, which separates the investment for themselves or in their own future and prosperity of the company. Despite a poor business climate, which is still changing for the better, there are a number of successful business projects, which can be used as more than a good role model. Nutrition, and the food sector is increasingly expanding and connecting with branches that up to a few years ago only marginally touched the areas of nutrition: information technology, fashion, marketing, automotive industry are just a few of the industries that have begun to combine diet and their services in innovative packages . Today information is important, and by investing in their own business monitoring of the market niche is awaiting constantly. On ones own example the growth and development of companies and entrepreneurial projects will be shown, which will then move towards embedding entrepreneurial ideas of participants. For a high quality growth and development of our project ideas, it is first necessary to examine the same on a famous model that allows us to review the basic activities needed to reach the product, and the best way to do this is to use the right Business Model Canvas, which we will do in the workshop . Step out of the frame, think globally and act locally. |
